THE SEER
Set against the backdrop of class distinctions, gender oppression, and the Suffrage Movement in 1890s Missouri, THE SEER is about a young clairvoyant named Sarah who will do anything for her beloved grandmother, even defying her father's wish to stifle her psychic gift and instead use it as her grandmother wants her to: to 'deliver the weak from the wicked,' but when she secretly tries to help an abused pregnant woman, it's a decision that leads to murder, her sister being sent to an asylum, and Sarah fighting for her life and her freedom.
